Mall Madness

So, I am renewing my vow to never ever take my children to any mall again. I said it once before when Mckenna was 2 and I was 8 months pregnant. She ran off and I waddled after her while everyone watched. I finally caught up to her and had to carry her back kicking and screaming. Don't ask why I didn't have a stroller. This weekend, we went to the mall for eye exams. Mikey refuses to ride in a stroller without causing a scene. He wants to push the stroller. I made the mistake of letting him. He's like a tiny tornado. He ditches the stroller and runs from store to store yelling " I want one of those and those and those etc. I finally bribed him with an ice cream cone and tricked him into sitting down long enough for me to strap him down. He then says " Mamma, I nice boy. Tell Santa bring 4 wheeler, okay." He is pretty smart for a 2 year old. I have to say that Mckenna behaved very well.

Back in the saddle

I told you this would be a struggle.  I am a flakey blogger.  The past month or so since I started my blog has been fairly uneventful.  That's a good thing.  I'll catch you all up.  Let me start with spring break.  We took the kids to Thanksgiving Point to ride the horses.  They both love the ponies.  It was Mikey's first pony ride.   Kenna wants grandpa Craig to buy her one.  I guess that is better than the last pet she wanted; an antelope.  Mikey is growing like a week.  He will be 2 in a few days.  He loves to ride his bike to the park and go down the really big slides.  He is to fearless.  He loves being with his sister.  He calls her Sissy, short for sister.  It is really very sweet.  He follows her everywhere and she is good to let him tag along.  She is a great big sister.  She is also a great helper at home.
 

Blog Retarded, But Willing to Try!

I am finally jumping on the bandwagon. I am horrible at keeping in touch with family and friends so I suppose this is a good thing. Life is good. Ken and I stay busy with our two little munchkins. Mckenna is almost 5 and will go to kindergarten this fall. Michael will be two in May. He is all boy! Mckenna is very in to makeup and playing dress up with her cousin Sophia. We are anxious for good weather. I am feeling especially cooped up after the long cold winter. Hope everyone is doing well. I'll add more later after I figure out how to add photos.
